WARSAW – Baseball teams in the 10U and 13U brackets began their championship marches as day two of the Baseball Players Association World Series rolled on Thursday at the CCAC.

The 10U tournament Friday has the AWP Cubs Blue (Fort Wayne) playing the Duneland Flyers for a chance to reach the championship round. The Shamrocks of Battle Creek will take on the Huntington Hawks, the winner then will face New Haven Bulldogs Black for the second spot in the championship round.

The 10U loser’s bracket will also host several games throughout the day.

The 13U tournament will have the Summit City Sliders take on the LaPorte Sluggers opposite the Granger Cubs and Ohio Generals battling. Both games are to clinch a spot in the championship round, and both begin at noon.
