Robert ‘Bob’ Calhoun
Robert “Bob” Calhoun of Fort Wayne, passed away at 6 a.m. Thursday, June 25, 2015, at Kosciusko Community Hospital-ER of Warsaw, at the age of 60.
He worked for Calhoun Lumber and did many thing while working there. He drove the log truck as well as worked in the saw mill for many years.
Bob was born on July 5, 1954, in Prestonsburg, Ky. to Dewey Calhoun and Deliah (Rose) Calhoun. On June 28, 2005, he was married to Janet (Church) Calhoun, who survives in Fort Wayne.
He is survived by his daughter: Shawna (Ryan) Harshman, Silver Lake; three grandchildren: Owen; Delaney; and Brynna, Silver Lake; five brothers: Don Calhoun, Pierceton; Wayne Calhoun, South Bend; Dean (Sandy) Calhoun, Coldwater, Mich.; Joe (Teresa) Calhoun, Sidney; Denver Calhoun, Wolcottville; and his mother: Delilah Calhoun, South Whitley. He was preceded in death by his father: Dewey Calhoun, on Aug. 28, 2011.
Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. Monday, June 29, at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, Warsaw.
His funeral service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 30, at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home of Warsaw and officiated by Pastor Essie Allen. Burial will follow with a graveside service at Hillcrest Cemetery, Pierceton.
Memorial donations may be directed to Free United Baptist Church, Pierceton, and would be appreciated by his family.
