Jacqueline Reed, 88, of rural Wabash, died at 1:15 a.m. Friday, June 19, 2015, at her home.

She was born July 6, 1926 in Peru to Gordon Keith and Faye (Hahn) Constable. Jackie married Raymond C. Reed in Peru on March 4, 1943; he died June 6, 2015. She was a member of the Asbury Country Church. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, and her family.

She is survived by four children: Sharon (John) West, Roann, Patricia (Tom) Chekouras, and Cheryl (Dohn) Wiley, both of Wabash, and Stanley (Linda) Reed, Ossian; two sisters: Phyllis (William) Hand, Peru, and Marjorie (Robert) Stephenson, Warren; three brothers: Gordon Keith Constable and Mark Constable, both of Arizona, and Steven Constable, Peru, 14 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother: David Constable.

Friends may call 4-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 23 at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, 1241 Manchester Ave., Wabash, with Pastor Mike Bullick and Pastor John Cook officiating. Burial will be in Ever Rest Memorial Park Cemetery, Logansport.
