Sex Offender Wanted In Indiana Captured In California
A Steuben county man wanted in Indiana was apprehended by U.S. Marshals in Lodi, California, Thursday, June 11.
A warrant had been issued for Jack Edward Miller Jr. on May 22. He was wanted for failure to register as a sex or violent offender after changing addresses while living in Steuben county.
Police received information that he had fled the state. Steuben County Sheriff’s Department investigators worked with U.S. Marshals and were able to locate Miller in California, where he was taken into custody.
Miller is also wanted for failure to appear in court, violating parole and an unrelated misdemeanor charge.
