Kosciusko Board of Realtors Help Fill Local Food Pantry

The Kosciusko Board of Realtors recently helped fill the food pantry of the Victory Rock Church, Pierceton. The Victory Rock Food Pantry has been helping their community for 15 years. They are open on the second Tuesday of each month to help families in need.
Pastor Charles Trout shared with the realtor membership that the food pantry typically serves 75 to 85 families each month with the numbers going up in November and December. The food pantry also donates up to 100 turkeys to families during the holiday season.
At their recent general membership business meeting both Realtor and affiliate members donated canned, boxed and paper goods to be donated to the pantry.
After collection, Realtor members joined Pastor Trout and volunteers of his church to organize and fill boxes for this month’s drive. Realtors believe in the importance of giving back to our community.
They understand individuals and families are made stronger when the community works together as partners to help those in need. Local realtors and their affiliate partners are proud to support Kosciusko County.
