The following students were awarded special recognition at Triton High School last Saturday morning:

The Army Reserve National Scholar/Athlete student award was presented by Mr. Ross. The recipients of this award are Nathaniel Spangle and Hannah Jennings.

The United States Marine Corps Distinguished students award was presented by Staff Sgt. Wesley. The Scholastic Excellence award recipient is Lisa Otto and the Distinguished Athlete award recipient is Grant Stichter.

The Semper Fidilis award was given to Justin Hefner.

The following students were awarded scholarships from area organizations:

The Indiana 4-H Foundation Scholarship and the 4-H Accomplishment Scholarship were presented by Angie Smith from Marshall County 4-H. Reid Mosson was the scholarship recipient.

The Samuel Elliot Perkins IV Memorial Scholarship was presented by Patti Klich from the Purdue Alumni Club of Marshall County. Austin Sellers was the scholarship recipient.

America’s Farmers Grow AG Leaders Scholarship administered by the National FFA Organization was presented by Ryan Sanders from the Monsanto Fund. Andrew Chupp was the scholarship recipient. 

The Shelter Insurance Scholarship was presented by Kyle Whiteman from Shelter Insurance. Delilah Hochstedler was the scholarship recipient.

The Ancilla College Reach Scholarship was presented by Sarah Lawrence and was awarded to Brycelyn Garbison. 

The Donner Merit Scholarship, Harvey Willey Scholarship and the Hanover Legacy Scholarship awarded from Hanover College were awarded to Reid Mosson and presented by Robert Ross.                    

The Marshall County Youth Court Scholarship sponsored by Otis Bowen Center was awarded to Reid Mosson and presented by Robert Ross.

The Knights of Pythias of Indiana Scholarship was awarded to Jared Fisher and presented by Robert Ross.
