City Of Lakes Cruise-In Winners Announced
The Warsaw Breakfast Optimist Club hosted the sixth annual City of Lakes Cruise-In on Saturday, May 16, in downtown Warsaw. The Main and Market street intersection was closed down to allow for numerous cars, motorcycles and even emergency and army vehicles to be displayed for public enjoyment.
Motorcycle winners included Pork Chop, Fort Wayne, for a 2010 Brown Harley; Ultra; Bruce Smock, Huntertown; RJ Frye, Wabash; Tony Palmer, Warsaw; Richard Knox, Fort Wayne.
The division for vehicles made before 1950 winners included Bob Barth, Warsaw, for a 1940 Red Studebaker President Coupe; Dan McKibbin, Warsaw; George Kelchner, Warsaw Fire Department; Ken Bathrick, Rochester; Herb Danner, Franfort; Doug Walls, Pierceton; Mike and Gina Walsh, Warsaw; Nick Deeter, Warsaw.
Division winners for cars from 1950 to 1966 Crist Blassaras, Syracuse, 1959 Green Caddy Street Rod; Steve & Lenore Lewis, Mentone; Roy Hauth, Winona Lake; Ellen Slabaugh, Milford; John and Cheryl Lacheta, Warsaw; Karl Lenaburg, Elkhart; Larry Sexton, Bourbon; Larry and Linda Riley, Warsaw.
