Carol Vanoni
Carol Vanoni, 60, of Ligonier, passed away at 11:13 a.m. Saturday, May 16, 2015, at IU Health Goshen Hospital, Goshen.
She was born on Nov. 19, 1954, and at the age of 4 years became the daughter of Joe and Becky (Stoltzfus) Zehr.
Mrs. Vanoni attended the Wawasee Lakeside Chapel. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, crocheting and crafts. Carol was an animal lover and enjoyed caring for her cats.
She is survived by her son: Corbett Vanoni, Minneapolis, Minn.; a sister: Donna (Greg) Conrad, Ariz.; a brother: Tim (Temple) Miller, Alexandria; half-brother: Brad (Karen) Teeters, Fostoria, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to The IU Health Goshen Hospital Oncology Department, Nurse Mary of the Parkview LaGrange Hospital, and the Topeka Pharmacy for their support.
There will be a memorial service held in Mrs. Vanoni’s honor at noon Saturday, May 23, at Stone’s Hill Church, Ligonier, with Celebrant Larry Baker officiating. A private cremation committal will take place at Legacy Cremation and Remembrance Center. A time of visitation will take place one hour prior to the service at the church.
