4-H Farm and Garden Tractor Contests Held
The Elkhart County 4-H Farm and Garden Tractor clubs held their annual contest on Saturday, May 9, at the Elkhart County 4-H Fairgrounds. Winners of each division will be able to advance to the Area X Tractor Driving Career Development event on June 6 in LaPorte County.
In the 4-H Garden Tractor Operators contest Kameron Kast, Elkhart, earned Junior Division Champion and Christopher Craw, Goshen, took reserve champion honors.
In the Senior Division Lucas Inniger, New Paris, earned division champion and Tyrell Plett, Goshen, earned reserve champion. The division champions and reserve champions will represent Elkhart County at the Area X Tractor Driving Career Development event.
In the 4-H Agriculture Tractor Operators contest, Trevor Stoll, Elkhart, earned champion in the junior division and Tye Zahner, Mishawaka, took reserve champion. From the junior division, Trevor Stoll and Matthew Yoder, Elkhart, will be representing Elkhart County at the Area X Tractor Driving Career Development Event.
In the senior division, Trey Zahner, Mishawaka, earned top honors of division champion and Jacob Mestach, Wakarusa, earned reserve champion.
Jacob Mestach and Nathan Martin, Goshen, will be advancing to the Area X Tractor Driving Career Development event for Elkhart County.
The 4-H Lawn Tractor Club would like to thank Gilsinger Implement for the donation of the use of the tractor for the county contest.
