Hoosier Senior Citizens Recognized For Service
Lieutenant Governor Sue Ellspermann, Secretary of Indiana Family and Social Services Administration (FSSA) Dr. John Wernert and Director of the FSSA’s Division of Aging Yonda Snyder honored recipients of the Golden Hoosier Awards at the Indiana Statehouse Monday, May 18.
The awards, which originated in 2008, honor outstanding Hoosier senior citizens for a lifetime of service and commitment to their communities. It is considered one of the highest honors given by the state of Indiana.
