James Clay Fullen
James Clay Fullen, 63, of Columbia City, was found dead at his home of natural causes on Thursday, May 14, 2015.
He was born Dec. 23, 1951, in Fairmont, W.V., to George E. and Betty M. (Tomlinson) Fullen Sr. His formative years were spent in Monongah. He graduated from Monongah High School.
He was employed at Bausch and Lomb and retired from Gassify Florist in June 2014.
Surviving relatives include three siblings: Daniel L. (Ina) Fullen, Four States, W.V.; Connie J. (Larry) Cantrell, Jasper, Ala.; and Charlotte A. (David) Lloyd, Bear, Del.; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother: George E. Fullen Jr., and a sister, Janice M. Spinner.
The memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 17, at Smith and Sons Funeral Home, Columbia City, with the family receiving friends after 1 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will be at a later date at Grandview Memorial Gardens, Fairmont West Virginia.
Preferred memorials are to American Heart Association or Alzheimer’s Association.
