G. Edmund Davis
G. Edmund Davis, 80, of Westminster Manor, Bradenton, Fla., passed away at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 5, 2015, at Tidwell Hospice of Ellenton, Palmetto, Fla.
On Feb. 8, 1935, he was born in Winchester, to Gerald and Hazel (McKamey) Davis. He was united in marriage to Emily Atkinson on Aug. 30, 1957, in Cincinnati, Ohio, who survives.
Edmund moved to Boston, Mass., then returned back to Warsaw in 1986. He then moved to Bradenton, Fla. He worked as an orthopedics sales representative for 20 years and was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Warsaw and First Presbyterian Church, Bradenton, Fla.
He is survived by his wife: Emily Davis, Bradenton, Fla.; two children: Todd (Paulette) Davis, Leesburg; and Beth (Lee) Alvin, Denver, Colo.; five grandchildren: Alison (Jonathan) Leweke, Chicago; Jessica (Brooks) Reed, Granger; Stefani Davis, Columbus, Ohio; Daniele Alvin, Denver, Colo.; and Ben Alvin, Denver, Colo. Edmund is also survived by five great-grandchildren: Harper Reed; Scarlett Reed; Caleb Alvin; Sienna Alvin; and Silas Alvin; and one brother: Norman (Shirley) Davis, Suwanee, Tenn.
A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Friday, May 22, in First Presbyterian Church, Bradenton, Fla., with Pastor Dino Rustin officiating. McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw is entrusted with arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, the family would like memorial donations to go to Kosciusko Homecare and Hospice.
