Nathaniel McConnell, 24, Etna Green, was flown to South Bend Memorial Hospital, with internal injuries following a two vehicle accident at 2:48 p.m. today. The accident was on US 6 at CR 23, north of Milford and just east of the US 6/SR 15 intersection.

The Elkhart County Sheriff’s department accident crash release, distributed at 6:33 p.m. says, Justin Gladieux, 18, Bourbon was stopped on CR 23 (Old SR 15) in a 1995 Saturn, when he failed to yield the right of way to an eastbound 2006 International semitractor/trailer. The semi was driven by Justin Frank, 29, Edwardsburg, Mich.

The semi struck the Saturn in the passenger side.

Neither Gladieux or Frank were injured.

The Elkhart County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the accident. No enforcement actions were taken at the scene.

New Paris EMS and Fire Department along with Goshen Paramedics have been called to a two-vehicle accident at US 6 and CR 23, north of Milford.

The accident is reported between a UPS truck and a passenger vehicle.

The drivers of the UPS truck and passenger vehicle were treated at the scene by medical personnel. The passenger in the vehicle has been flown from the scene to South Bend Memorial Hospital by Medflight.
