Arloa B. Kurosky
Arloa B. Kurosky, 86, died at 10:08 p.m. Sunday, May 10, 2015, at her Warsaw home.
She was born March 24, 1929, in Hastings, Mich., to Glenn M. and Ethyl O. (Stewart) Smith. She was a 1947 graduate of Ionia High School, Ionia, Mich.
She married William Kurosky on June 10, 1950, in Ionia. She was an office manager for Walmer Supply for 39 years before retiring in 2006.
Arloa was a member of the Warsaw Evangelical Presbyterian Church; member of the steering committee for W.O.W.; Kosciusko County Historical Society Jail Museum docent; member of The Salvation Army Women’s Auxiliary; was a volunteer tutor at Lincoln and Washington Elementary Schools; enjoyed watching her grandchildren participate in sporting events; loved playing bridge and golf (she made a hole in one at Rozella Ford Golf Club); and loved her cat, Ginger.
She is survived by a daughter: Barbara (William) Bundy, Panama City, Florida; son: Paul (Katherine) Kurosky, Warsaw; 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; a sister: Dorothy Roth, Ionia, Mich.
She was preceded in death by her husband: William Kurosky on Feb. 28, 1982; and brother: Glen Smith.
Friends may call from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, May 14, at Titus Funeral Home, 2000 E. Sheridan St., Warsaw, where funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday. Pastor Erik Ohman, Warsaw Evangelical Presbyterian Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
