New Hot Wheels Exhibit At Indianapolis Children’s Museum
The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis is debuting a new exhibit this weekend entitled “Hot Wheels: Race to Win.”
The traveling exhibit features Mattel’s Hot Wheels diecast cars and a behind-the-scenes look at the thrilling world of racing. It will offer hands-on experiences for experimentation and play using authentic race gear and memorabilia to engage the entire family.
Families can participate in the “Pit Stop Challenge,” build and test model race cars and learn about the science behind the speed of racing. Mattel has also produced a special, limited edition Hot Wheels car that will only be available in The Children’s Museum Store beginning in late June.
The exhibit is free with regular museum admission, which costs $18.50 for youth, $21.50 for adults and $20.50 for seniors. “Hot Wheels: Race to Win” runs May 9 through August 16. For more information, visit www.childrensmuseum.org or call (317) 334-4000.
