Adult Craft Night
Now that winter is behind us, it’s time to think of planting and gardening. Join us at 6 p.m. Monday, May 11, when we will be making indoor herb garden planters. These adorable planters are made from clay terracotta pots and decorated with black chalkboard paint and twine ribbon for a rustic appearance. All materials are include in the price and each person will be making two pots for a total cost of $10. A sign up sheet will be available at the circulation desk in the adult department. Register by 6 p.m. Friday, May 8.
After School is Cool
Join staff for a craft day at 3:30 p.m. May 12. Come and make teacher appreciation owls for your teachers. We will make owl heads and staple them to the top of a bag of candy for your favorite teacher. After we make our creations, enjoy a quick snack with your friends. Remember that each After School is Cool you attend earns you 10 points. When you have 40 points, you can choose a paperback book to add to your home library.
