Arnold ‘Lee’ Steller
Arnold “Lee” Steller, 87, North Manchester, died at 5:38 p.m. Monday, May 4, 2015, in Peabody Healthcare Center, North Manchester.
He was born Sept. 29, 1927 in Servia to Arnold F. and Tillie (Twyer) Steller. On Sept. 29, 1978 he married Mary L. Dugan.
He worked at Peabody Seating, North Manchester, until its closing. He was a member of Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge 1518, North Manchester.
He loved his family. He was an avid fisherman and mushroom hunter and loved to eat asparagus. He also enjoyed playing euchre. He attended Congregational Christian Church, North Manchester.
Lee is survived by his wife: Mary L. Steller, North Manchester; four sons: Tom (Dianne) Dugan, Pierceton, Larry (Deborah) Steller, Pierceton, Mike (Sue) Steller, Cromwell, and Steve (Kim) Steller, Pierceton; one daughter: Janet Harmon, North Manchester; one sister: Ruby Long, Elkhart; 18 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.
He is preceded by two daughters: Rebekah Shoemaker and Sandra Steller; and four sisters.
Family and friends may callĀ from 9-11 a.m. Friday, May 8 at McKee Mortuary, 1401 SR 114 West, North Manchester. Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, May 8 at McKee Mortuary, 1401 SR 114 West, North Manchester. Pastor J. P. Freeman will officiate. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery, North Manchester.
