The following individuals were booked in the Kosciusko County Jail after receiving jail sentences in a Kosciusko County Court:

May 3

• Maranda Rae Stookey, 25, 7653 N 250W, Milford, sentenced for operating a vehicle while intoxicated. She was given a 90-day driver’s license suspension and ordered to serve 365 days in jail, with 353 days suspended to be served on probation. She was ordered to serve 12 days of incarceration.

May 2

• Karen Elizabeth Holland, 30, 605 N. Thayer St., Bourbon, was sentenced for operating a vehicle while intoxicated. Her driver’s license was suspended for 90 days and was given a 365-day jail sentence, with 359 days suspended. The remainder will be served at the Kosciusko County Jail.

May 1

• Fred Dwayne Prater, 49, 2425 S 950W, South Whitley, sentenced for operating a vehicle while intoxicated. He was given a driver’s license suspension for 180 days, with a 60-day jail sentence, with 48 days suspended. The remaining 12 days will be served in the Kosciusko County Jail.
• Shawn Douglas Elder, 21, 905 N. Mill St., Syracuse, sentenced for possession of paraphernalia. He was given a 365-day jail sentence with 355 days suspended. The remaining 10 days will be served in the Kosciusko County Jail.
• Richard Dean Hyde, 42, 1829 Cambridge Drive, Warsaw, sentenced for failure to register as a sex offender. He was given a one-year suspended sentence with four days jail time credit. He was placed on probation and ordered to serve six 48-hour periods of incarceration before June 30.
