William H. Smith
William H. Smith, 58, of Warsaw, passed away at 12:28 pm Monday, March 30, in Visiting Nurse Hospice Home, Fort Wayne, Indiana.
On April 25, 1956, he was born in Warsaw, Indiana to Robert and Janice (Hyde) Smith. He was united in marriage to Patricia Nine on May 27, 1985 in Warsaw, who survives.
A lifetime resident of Warsaw, William worked as a welder for Par-Kan. He also worked for Warsaw Coil, Laketon Asphalt and Stafford Waste Management, Warsaw, retiring in 2001. He was a member of REACT, KemRad and Eagles Club. He enjoyed fishing, playing shuffleboard at the Eagles, NASCAR and Football. He was a big fan of Jeff Gordon and the Chicago Bears.
William is survived by his wife of 29 years: Patricia Smith, Warsaw; five children: Cinditha (Casey Carden) Adkins, Galveston; Andrea Smith, Warsaw; Tina (Jeremy) Morgan, Warsaw; Angelia (Tye) Evans, Warsaw; Lorie Wilson, Warsaw; two brothers: Tim Smith, Columbia City; Mike Smith, Wisconsin; one sister: Tina Smith, Warsaw; and nine grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother: Bobby Smith.
Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. Saturday, May 9, at New Life Christian Church and World Outreach. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 9, with Pastor John Lowe officiating.
