Charley Creek Gardens Presents 2015 Plant Swap
Charley Creek Gardens will present its annual ”Plant Swap” from 1- 3 p.m. Saturday, May 16.
“Plant Swappers” are to check-in from 1-2 p.m. at the Charley Creek Gardens Wabash street entrance located at 520 N. Wabash St., where the plant swap will commence in the parking area and adjacent lawn at 2 p.m. If inclement weather conditions prevail, the plant swap will take place at the Charley Creek Gardens Education and Resource Center garage located at 551 N. Miami Street.
Participants are asked that their plants be in containers and that each plant be labeled with its common name. The plants should also be non-invasive. Each participant is allowed up to ten plant swaps. The Charley Creek Gardens annual plant-swapping event serves as a way to help support and sustain our gardening community by encouraging use of locally-grown plants.
