Kosciusko
Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accidents:
6:46 a.m. Tuesday, April 28, North SR 13, north of East CR 850N, Syracuse. Driver: Alicia M. Catron, 31, East Holmes Court, Cromwell. Catron over corrected her vehicle when it went off the road, going across the road and hitting a street sign and phone box. Damage up to $5,000.
3:38 p.m. Monday, April 27, West CR 1350N, west of North SR 15, Milford. Driver: Joshua L. Harris, 31, North Perry Drive, Milford. Harris’ vehicle sideswiped a guard rail. Damage up to $10,000.
7:36 a.m. Monday, April 27, East CR 1300N and North 100E, Milford. Driver: Gregory P. Griffith, 18, East 1300N, Milford. Griffith complained of pain to the chest and was taken to Kosciusko Community Hospital. Griffith over corrected his vehicle when it went off the road way colliding with guide wires to a utility pole. Damage up to $5,000.
North Webster
Officers with the North Webster Police Department investigated the following accident:
2 a.m. Sunday, April 26, 8432 N 850E, Syracuse. Driver: Mearman T. Reece, 69, South CR 700E, Pierceton. Reece was on a private road at Barrel 1/2 Lake on Tri-County Fish and Wildlife Area. He stepped out of his vehicle to check on his hunting dogs but forgot to put the vehicle in park. The vehicle began rolling down the hill and rolled off the right side of the roadway into a ditch, hitting trees. Damage up to $5,000.
Syracuse
Officers with the Syracuse Police Department investigated the following accident:
7:43 a.m. Tuesday, April 28, East Chicago Street, west of South Harkless Drive, Syracuse. Drivers; Ray O. Skelton, 78, East Chicago Street, Syracuse, and Jessica S. Weaver, 33, South Edgewater Drive, Syracuse. Skelton was backing from his driveway and did not see the Weaver vehicle, which had stopped along the road near his driveway. Damage up to $2,500
Warsaw
Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accident:
6:36 p.m. Tuesday, April 28, North Detroit Street, east of East Canal Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Toria L. Schneider, 20, Pinewood Court, Brownsburg, and Timothy L. Dombrosky, 27, Chamberlin Drive, Warsaw. Schneider turned in front of the Dombrosky vehicle. Dombrosky’s wife, 39 weeks pregnant, was checked by paramedics at the scene but refused medical treatment. Damage up to $10,000.
