Early (Absentee) Voting Underway
Early voting, also known as absentee voting, began Monday, April 20, at the Kosciusko County Clerk’s Office in the Kosciusko County Justice Building, 121 N. Lake St., Warsaw.
The early voting office will be open from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. and noon to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, through May 1. The office will also be open from 8 a.m. to noon, Saturday, April 25 and May 2, and Monday, May 4.
Voters are encouraged to avail themselves of this opportunity to vote early, especially if there may be hectic schedules to cause them to be called away from the area or become otherwise engaged on primary day, May 5.
Early voters will need to bring their government-issued photo IDs with them when they come to vote. Early voting is convenient and affords a voter the chance to secure their vote, without having to be concerned about missing, for whatever reason, the opportunity to vote on primary election day.
In addition, absentee voting by mail and absentee voting by traveling absentee board will also be available to voters, and interested voters should contact the Kosciusko County Clerk’s office at (574) 372-2331 for details.
