Masterson Chiropractic Chooses KC-Ed To Support Throughout Year
By BRITTANY LYON
Director, Kosciusko County Educational Development
Each year, the doctors and staff at Masterson Chiropractic come together and select a non-profit to support through donations from free clinics they run over the course of the year. This year, Kosciusko County Educational Development was their group of choice.
Their free clinics include screenings that pinpoint spinal issues as well as presentations that discuss mobility with age and how to prevent arthritis and degenerative joint disease. Donations from the clinics are then donated to KC-Ed. For anyone that signs up as a new patient at a clinic, Masterson Chiropractic also donates their first visit fee back to KC-Ed.
KC-Ed’s mission is to promote high school graduation, one relationship at a time. Their K-12 programs serve four area school corporations: Tippecanoe Valley, Warsaw, Wawasee, and Whitko. KC-Ed is in its sixth year of operation and has served nearly 400 students during that time. KC-Ed is a 501 C 3 public charity and is entirely funded by grants and individual or corporate donations.
