There are still some spots available for the spring mommy and son dance. It is being held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday at the Syracuse Community Center, 1013 N. Long Drive.

Reservations are required but admission will be collected at the door. To reserve your spot call Babes & Combs Hair Salon between noon and 6 p.m. through Friday. The number is (574) 457-4970.

While the dance is aimed at the younger set and their Moms, grandmothers and aunts or favorite female person, it is open to all ages. There will be dancing with music provided by a DJ, activities and snacks. All the profit from the dance will be donated to Syracuse’s Rose Home North, a substance abuse recovery center for women.
