Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accidents:

9:27 p.m. Monday, April 13, South SR 25, west of South Bruner Road, Mentone. Driver: Dillon E. Davis, 17, South CR 700W, Mentone. Hit deer. Damage up to $5,000.

11 a.m. Sunday, April 12, East US 30 and East Old Road 30, Warsaw. Drivers: Katherine Hubschman, 23, Township Road, Mount Gilead, Ohio, and Chris Kendziora, 49, Dixie Drive, Waukesha, Wis. Hubschman’s vehicle struck the back of the Kendziora vehicle. Damage up to $5,000.

6:20 a.m. Sunday, April 12, South SR 13 and South CR 675E, Warsaw. Drivers: Dillon M. Levier, 18, Shields Avenue, Peru and Robert L. Joy, 59, East CR 650S, Pierceton. Levier’s vehicle sustained a steering failure preventing him from steering through the curve. His vehicle crossed the center line and struck the Joy vehicle. Both drivers were evaluated by medics but refused medical treatment. Damage up to $10,000.

12:19 a.m. Sunday, April 12, North Jefferson Street, south of West Cemetery Drive, Silver Lake. Driver: Sandra I. Granda, 19, North Old Road 15, Warsaw. Granda fell asleep while driving, hitting a mailbox at Silver Lake Animal Clinic and a Frontier phone box. She was check by medics and declined any treatment. Damage up to $5,000.

11:34 p.m. Saturday, April 11, South SR 13, south of East CR 725S, Sidney. Driver: Jessica M. Sparke, 17, South CR 600E, Pierceton. Swerved to miss a large dog, went off the road, hitting a guardrail. Damage up to $10,000.

7:36 p.m. Saturday, April 11, North Jefferson Street and West Myrtle Glen Road, Silver Lake. Drivers: Kereen E. Freeman, 17, North Park Avenue, Warsaw, and Rita S. Hall, 47, North Market Street, North Manchester. A tire on freeman’s vehicle had fallen off causing him to drive into the opposite lane of traffic, hitting the Hall vehicle. Freeman complained of pain to the head and hall complained of pain to the chest. Both drivers were checked by medics. Damage up to $10,000.

8:46 a.m. Saturday, April 11, East SR 14, west of South Packerton Road, Silver Lake. Driver: Joshua A. Dubois, 30, East Rochester Street, Akron. Hit deer. Damage up to $2,500.

Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:

7:09 p.m. Monday, April 13, Commerce Drive, Warsaw. Driver: Felicia V. Cleto, 20, Wexford Place, Warsaw. Deer hit vehicle. Damage up to $2,500.

5:18 p.m. Monday, April 13, East Center Street and North Lincoln Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Christopher A. Landel, 23, CR 1 Edon, Ohio; Deepak Grover, 33, Sand Dollar Drive, Warsaw; and Matthew E. Bosch, 42, Metea Velley Crossing, Leo. Landel’s vehicle hit the back of the Grover vehicle, which in turn hit the back of the Bosch vehicle. Damage up to $25,000.

4:14 p.m. Monday, April 13, Lake City Highway, east of Meijer Drive, Warsaw. Drivers: Mark E. Barnes, 54, Lynn Avenue, Fort Wayne, and Steven W. Sirois, 50, Trevino Street, Warsaw. Barnes’ vehicle hit the back of the Sirois vehicle. Damage up to $10,000.

3:39 p.m. Monday, April 13, Walton Boulevard, Warsaw. Drivers: Scott A. Sherman, 49, North Rebecca Street, Claypool, and Dorothy J. Howard, 79, East Beer Road, Milford. Both drivers were backing from their respective parking spaces at the same time colliding. Damage up to $5,000.
