Alan D. Grose
Alan D. Grose, 54, of Warsaw, passed away at 11:20 a.m. Sunday, April 12, 2015, in his residence.
On June 18, 1960, he was born in Warsaw, to Frank and Diane (Derry) Grose. He was united in marriage to Tracey Brown on April 4, 1981, in Warsaw.
A lifetime resident of Warsaw, Alan began work as a binding line operator for R.R. Donnelley and Sons, Warsaw, in 1979, where he served for 35 years. He was also formerly employed by Derry Electric. Alan attended Warsaw Community Church. He was a member of A.B.A.T.E. and Baker Youth Club. He was a basketball official for IHSAA, and a coach for Warsaw Little League.
He is survived by his wife: Tracey Grose, Warsaw; two daughters: Nikki Grose and Jamie Grose, both of Warsaw; his father: Frank Grose, Warsaw; two sisters: Leigh Ann (Kevin) Denlinger, Warsaw; Jill (Kevin) Bragg, Warsaw; and his brother: Jeff (Rachel) Grose, Warsaw.
Alan was preceded in death by his mother.
A funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 16, in McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, with Pastor Denny Wilson officiating. Burial will be private. Visitation hours will be from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, April 15, and also one hour prior to the service on Thursday at the funeral chapel.
