Palascak Returns To Wabash To Perform At Eagles Theatre
Wabash native Michael Palascak will head back to town to perform at the Eagles Theatre on at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, April 23 as the final performance of the Thursday Night Comedy Series. Audience members will be welcomed by Sparkle 101.9 and 105.9 The Bash. Sponsorship for this performance is provided by Bucheri McCarty & Metz LLP and Pizza King of Wabash.
After moving around the Midwest in his early childhood, Michael Palascak ended up in Wabash, Indiana where he spent his formative years. After college, he moved to Chicago to pursue a career in comedy while living at home with his parents.
Desiring to perform all forms of comedy, Michael took sketch and improv classes at The Second City in Chicago. Later Michael debuted his one-person sketch show –“Pursuing Happiness”– a bunch of scenes about people that moved out of their parents’ house, got a real job and got married. Performed by a guy who didn’t.
In the last three years, Michael has performed on “The Late Show with David Letterman,” “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” and “The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson,” and has most recently performed on the Conon O’Brien’s show. He won the Chicago region title of Comedy Central’s Open Mic Fight and went on to make his Comedy Central debut on season three of “Live at Gotham.”
Last year, he was selected as one of 12 comedians in America to debut his half hour special on the inaugural season of Comedy Central’s “The Half Hour.”
Tickets for the Michael Palascak performance are $12 in advance or $15 at the door. General admission seating. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.; drinks and concessions are available. For more information about the Eagles Theatre Blues and Comedy Series visit our website at eaglestheatre.com.
