Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accidents:
12:51 p.m. Monday, March 23, East Bowser Road, east of North CR 300E, Syracuse. Driver: Tiffany R. Cramer, 20, South Manor Drive, Syracuse. Vehicle slid on snow covered roadway hit mailbox owned by Donald R. Buhrt, East Bowser Road, Syracuse. Damage up to $2,500.
11:44 a.m. Monday, March 23, South SR 15, Warsaw. Driver: Randal J. Armes, 58, South CR 500E, Gas City. Lost control of his vehicle, going off the road into a farm fence. The fence is owned by Yarnell Farms, West CR 1200S, Silver Lake. Damage up to $5,000.
Milford
Officers with the Milford Police Department investigated the following accident:
7:03 p.m. Sunday, March 22, West Emeline Street, Milford. Drivers: Annette F. McAllister, 51, Laurelwood Drive, Elkhart, and Christine DeLaFuente 23, West Section Street, Milford. McAllister was backing out of a parking space, hitting the DeLaFuente vehicle. Damage up to $5,000
Warsaw
Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:
8:38 p.m. Tuesday, March 24, Lake City Highway and Silveus Crossing, Warsaw. Drivers: Jordon R. Snoke, 23, Crescent Drive, Warsaw, and Bailey A. Hammel, 17, East CR 450N, Warsaw. Snoke suffered minor bleeding to the face, Hammel and a passenger in her vehicle, Alyson Grindle, 15, North Knollwod Drive, Warsaw, both complained of pain to their entire body, Chaise R. Belcher, 23, North CR 175E, Warsaw, suffered bleeding to the head. Snoke, Hammel and Grindle were transported to Kosciusko Community Hospital. Belcher was airlifted by Lutheran Air Ambulance to Fort Wayne. All were treated and released. Snoke ran the red light and struck the Hammel vehicle before crossing the median, going down an embankment and landing on its side. Snoke was arrested for operating a vehicle while intoxicated causing serious bodily injury, with a BAC equal to or greater than .09 with a prior, and reckless driving. Damage was estimated up to $50,000.
5:44 p.m. Tuesday, March 24, CR 200S east of Falcon Drive, Warsaw. Driver: Myron W. Metzger, 53, North 200W, North Manchester. Tire came off the vehicle, rolling off the roadway and colliding with the residence owned by Quenton J. Kidder, 205 Chickadee Lane, damaging the electrical receipt, siding and external air conditioning unit. Damage up to $2,500.
4:58 p.m. Tuesday, March 24, East Center Street south of South Roosevelt Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Luis E. Rodriguez-Vega, 32, Wooster Road, Winona Lake, and Sheila R. Tenner, 63, East CR 300N, Warsaw. Rodriguez-Vega pulled out onto Center Street into the path of the Tenner vehicle. Rodriguez-Vega was cited for not having an operator’s license. Damage up to $5,000.
12:02 p.m. Tuesday, March 24, North Detroit Street, Warsaw. Driver: Babetta G. Jones, 62, West Sunflower Lane, Warsaw. Backed from a parking space at CVS and backed into a vehicle registered to Marcus A. Trice, Lakeridge Place, Fort Wayne. Damage up to $5,000.
11:56 a.m. Tuesday, March 24, Commerce Drive and Lake City Highway, Warsaw. Drivers: Mona S. Hein, 47, South CR 450E, Pierceton and Keli A. McLeod, 48, Winchester Court, Winona Lake. Hein drove into the path of the the McLeod vehicle traveling east on US 30. Damage up to $10,000.
