Area Students Place First At Indiana State Science Fair
Two area youths have taken top honors at the 27th annual Hoosier Science and Engineering Fair in Indianapolis Saturday.
Maclain Middaugh, from Triton Elementary, took first place over all of the fifth graders in the state for his project, “The Effects of Food Dye.” He also won an honorable mention in statistics and received a medallion for representing the northern district.
Jordyn Leininger, from Pierceton, won top honors over all of the fourth graders in the state and also received a medallion.
