Mary Lou Main
Mary Lou (Newcomer) Main, 62, of Bremen died at 5:37 a.m. March 17, with family surrounding her in her home.
Mary was born on March 23, 1952 in South Bend, to Clyde and Florence (Holdread) Newcomer. She married Hal Eugene Main on December 27, 1975 and served him faithfully until his death on June 22, 2003. She had a true servant heart and strived to glorify The Lord who she accepted as her personal redeemer in March of 1968.
Mary attended Grand Rapids Baptist Bible College after high school. She later attended Nappanee Missionary Church. She recently retired after 12 years as Dr. Garl’s office manager at Bremen Chiropractic Center. Mary was a genealogy enthusiast and loved researching and learning about her ancestors. She loved her family and grandchildren dearly.
Mary was preceded in death by her father: Clyde, husband: Hal, and granddaughter: Alegria Pool.
She is survived by her mother: Florence, South Bend, her four children and their spouses who were like children to her: Jill (Alonso) Pool, Harrison, Tenn.; Kimberly (Travis) Kincaid; Mark (Stacey) Main and Brian (Jenelle) Main, all of Bremen, and 15 grandchildren: Montgomery; D. Mateo; Miguel; Abigail; Annabelle; Moises; Anica; Ariel; Amarissa; and Malachi Pool; Luke; Emma; Jack; and Kate Kincaid; and Taylor Main, as well as her sister: Kathy who joined her household as a teenager, her brothers: Larry (Cheryl) Newcomer, Phoenix, Ariz. and Phillip (Janine) Newcomer, South Bend.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday March 21 in the Connections Gym of Nappanee Missionary Church, 70417 South State Rd 19, Nappanee. Burial will follow at Bremen Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday, March 20 at the Mishler Funeral Home, 2030 SR 331, Bremen.
