Patricia Ann Walters
Patricia Ann Walters, 81 of Warsaw, passed away at 1:56 a.m. Tuesday, March 17, 2015 in Peabody Retirement Community, North Manchester.
On Jan. 11, 1934, Patricia was born in Floyd County, Ky. to Eddrell and Opal (Stanley) Miller. She was united in marriage to Gene Walters on April 20, 1951 in Paintsville, Ky., who preceded her in death on June 28, 1994.
Patricia moved to Warsaw from Kentucky ten years ago. She worked for the Census Bureau for many years. She also sold Avon products and worked in marketing and merchandising for various department stores.
Patricia was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, Paintsville, Ky. She was a great mom, who raised seven children and was a great grandmother, great- grandmother and great-great- grandmother. Patricia loved to square dance and was a regular pioneer for many years.
She was survived by two sons, Eddrell Stuart Walters, Versailles, Ky. and Terry (Michelle) Walters, Warsaw; four daughters, Leslie Golden, Silver Lake, Tami Spencer, Warsaw, Carmen (Ken) Fraley, Silver Lake and Dawn R. (Robert) Spears, East Point, Ky.; two sisters, Madonna Chappell, Fla. and Joyce Bennett, Mishawaka; three brothers, Tony Miller, Bob Miller and Ed Miller Jr., all of Fla.; twenty five grandchildren, thirty five great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren. Patricia was also preceded in death by her parents and her son, Taulbee Walters.
A memorial service will be at 7 p.m. Friday, March 20, at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw. Burial will be at a later date.
Visitation hours will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, March 20, at the funeral chapel.
