A shooting early Sunday morning, March 15, outside Piere’s Entertainment Center in the Marketplace of Canterbury, Fort Wayne, has left one man dead. Another victim was treated and released from the hospital Sunday. The name of the deceased victim has not been released pending notification of the family.

The Fort Wayne police department responded to the 5600 block of St. Joe Road around 3 a.m. where gunshots were heard in the parking lot after a small fight was broken up. Two men were injured and transported to the hospital.

One was pronounced dead at approximately 3:30 a.m. at the hospital from a gunshot wound. The Allen county coroner ruled the death a homicide.

Investigators don’t have any suspect descriptions or information but continue to interview witnesses and follow up on any leads. Police are also checking into any surveillance videos from the area.
