Magical Meadows
The Magical Meadows Therapeutic Horseback Riding Center invites all Veterans to attend our kick off event for the new Warriors Mount Up program being offered free of charge to those who have served our country. The kickoff event starts at 4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 28, at the riding center located seven miles east of Warsaw at 3386 East CR 525N Warsaw.
The Warriors Mount Up program provides a unique opportunity to work on physical and emotional stresses associated with keeping this country free and safe. These programs are being offered free of charge with funding and support being provided by organizations and individuals in our community.
The mission of this special program is to heal the bodies, minds and hearts of those who have bravely served our country with a unique program utilizing equine assisted activities and animal assisted therapy to heal physical and invisible wounds of war.
The benefits of equine assisted activities are numerous. They benefits are physical, social, cognitive and emotional, and there are several programs being offered to fit each veteran’s specific needs.
Project connect offers group classes allowing Veteran’s to work with horses and learn the basic skills necessary to safely train and ride horses. Project build allows you to help with small building projects to make the environment for horses and children even more special.
Walk the property, clear your head, connect with nature and pet the horses. Project family fun is a weekend adventure designed to help build stronger family connections and memories. Project volunteer is our volunteer program, where you can help a fellow veteran as they work on physical, mental and emotional strengthening by leading a horse, being a side walker, or just being a friend.
If you are interested in any of these programs call (574) 265-3085 for more details or if you have any questions.
