Crime Stoppers Seek Information In Gibbs Homicide Investigation
On the night of Friday, Dec. 19, Warsaw Fire Department responded to a house fire at 1031 E. Smith St. in Warsaw.
Responders discovered a body in the building which was later identified as Sarah J. Gibbs, 34, a renter a the residence.
After an autopsy, it was determined that Gibbs’ death was a homicide. “These injuries are consistent with injuries associated with an assault by someone other than oneself,” said Kosciusko County Coroner Michael Wilson at the time. The case was ruled a homicide and is currently under investigation.
