A New Beginning For The Rose Home In Syracuse

Local women’s recovery home, The Rose Home North, operating under the umbrella organization, Rose Home Inc. in Fort Wayne, Indiana announced today it has a new board of directors and plans to make major changes at the home.
The Rose Home is a Christian not-for-profit transitional living home for women who choose to recover from drug and alcohol addictions. Rose Homes are places of hope where women can see the joy of new beginnings and a promise for tomorrow.
The mission of the Rose Home is to provide a structured Christian atmosphere in which a drug/alcohol addicted woman can be guided through a holistic approach to recovery.
At the Rose Home an equal emphasis is placed on developing spirituality while working a 12-step recovery program with a sponsor. Each woman is supported with a balanced and wholesome approach to recovery. Rose Home North staff will utilize a team approach to help residents heal, grow, and develop in all areas-emotionally, physically, mentally, intellectually and spiritually.
The new board of directors plan to make changes that will improve the services at the home, provide trained staff, and comprehensive services in a supportive and safe environment. The new board of directors is committed to high-quality, evidence-based services and activities that focus on successful recovery for each woman.
New board members are: Tammy Cotton, board president; Lorna Snodgrass; Marsha Carey; and Beth Morgan.
The Rose Home North opened in Syracuse in 2006. Rose Home Inc. was created in 2001, in Fort Wayne IN. It is a not-for-profit charitable organization, operates the original home in Fort Wayne, and provides the organizational nonprofit structure for Rose Home North.
The Rose Home North is committed to, and will uphold its promise to provide holistic, Christian-based services leading to recovery for women we serve.
The Rose Home North is looking for volunteers, highly qualified board members, donations and support from both Kosciusko and Elkhart county businesses and residents.
