Expect plenty of activities at the 2015 Winterfest, Jan. 30-31, which will occur alongside the annual Wawasee Kiwanis Soup Supper and Snowmobile Drags. This year’s event will also be split between three venues: Syracuse Community Center, Harold Schrock Athletic Complex and Oakwood Resort.
Winterfest starts from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 30, for the sixth annual soup supper at the Syracuse Community Center. Soup entries will be awarded prizes based on the following categories: local restaurants; local businesses; local individual; and overall winner.
Those wishing to enter their soup need to supply 3-4 gallons of their best soup by 3 p.m. Jan. 30 to the community center. Entry forms can be found online at www.wawaseekiwanis.org.
