Maybe people have always told you you’re funny. Or if you’ve ever been interested in comedy improv, like that seen on TV’s “Whose Line is it Anyway?”, this may be an opportunity for you.
Main on Main Improv Troupe is a performing comedy improv group based in Syracuse. They hold regular open practice nights once a month where the public is invited to attend to watch or to play along.
This is a great way to find out more about comedy improv acting. Main on Main member Todd Lucas says, “Open practice is just a chance for us to open our doors for our practice and invite anyone who might want to try out improv to come see what we’re about. Its a no-pressure, fun opportunity for anyone, regardless of acting experience.”
Open Practice nights are held from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. the first Tuesday of each month at the Syracuse-Wawasee Chamber of Commerce, at 110 1/2 East Main Street, Syracuse. Anyone age 18 and over with an interest in comedy acting is invited to attend.
