GOSHEN – The Warsaw wrestling team came up just short versus host Goshen Thursday night.

The Redskins edged the Tigers 35-32 for the Northern Lakes Conference win.

Jeremy Lee (132) and Anthony Penn (heavyweight) each won by pin to lead the performance for Warsaw.

Sophomore Kyle Hatch continued his undefeated season for the Tigers with a win at 126. Hatch, who placed eighth at the State Finals a year ago, is now 26-0 on the season.

Also winning for the Tigers were Spencer Gareiss (152), Mason Faas (160), Rory Nolin (195) and Alec Hammel (113).

Goshen won the JV competition 16-3. Winning for Warsaw was Dan Gonzalez at 113.

Warsaw will compete in the Garrett Invitational Saturday. The Tigers then wrestle at NLC foe Concord Tuesday before taking part in the NLC Championships on Jan. 24 at Goshen High School.
