Two children missing from Delaware were found safe in Indiana Saturday and their father arrested. The children’s mother is still missing.
Delaware State Police issued an Amber Alert Saturday, Jan. 10, for Colette Hamilton, 4, and Cortez Hamilton Jr., 4 months, of Smyrna, Delaware. The children and their mother, Keisha Hamilton, 35, had not been seen since 10 p.m. Friday, Jan. 9.
Delaware police contacted Indiana State Police at approximately 7 p.m. Saturday to inform them that the children were possibly with their father in a red 2005 Chevrolet Suburban traveling to St. Louis, Missouri, on Interstate 64. The children were placed in the care of Warrick county child services.
