Weather has forced the hand of several schools in the area to cancel or postpone area athletics.

The Elkhart Christian at Triton boys basketball JV and varsity games have been postponed. A new date has not yet been announced.

The Tippecanoe Valley girls basketball JV and varsity games at Northfield have been postponed to Jan. 20 with a 6 p.m. JV start at Northfield.

The Lakeland Christian Academy at Elkhart Christian Academy varsity girls basketball game has been cancelled. No makeup date has been announced.

As of 1:45 p.m. Thursday, the Wawasee at NorthWood wrestling meet is still planned to take place. The meet is scheduled to start at 6:45 p.m. in The Panther Pit.

The Wawasee boys freshman basketball game at home versus East Noble is cancelled. There has been no makeup date announced for it.

Warsaw’s athletic office also added the boys and girls swim meets with Concord scheduled for Saturday has been pushed back to a 11:30 a.m. start. Competition will take place in the Warsaw Community Pool at the high school.
