Pauline B. ‘Polly’ Kuhn
Pauline B. ‘Polly’ Kuhn, 83, Mentone, passed away at 7:30 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 7, 2015, at her residence.
She was born on Aug. 30, 1931, in Akron, to John Otis and Pearl (Hart) Whittenberger. On May 18, 1951, at the Beaver Dam United Methodist Church of Akron, to Bernard D. Kuhn he survives.
Polly was a homemaker. She was a graduate of Beaver Dam High School in 1949. She was a member of the Burket United Methodist Church. She was always known for her friendliness. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, and making pies, and most of all raising her family.
She is survived by her husband; daughters: Beverly (Randy) Romine, Etna Green; Brenda (Donnie) Lynch, Warsaw; sons: Jeff Kuhn, Burket; Greg (Lee) Kuhn, Burket; six grandchildren: Kerry, Cory, Kylie, Kayla, Ashley, Hannah and Lacey; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a sister: Deloris Young; an infant twin brother: Kenneth; and brothers: Richard, Robert and Donald Whittenberger.
Visitation will be held from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 9, at King Memorial Home, Mentone. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 10, at King Memorial Home, 101 N. Tucker St., Mentone, with Pastor Gary Loy officiating. Burial will be held in Harrison Center Cemetery, Etna Green.
