Rose A. Sims
Rose A. Sims, 80, of Warsaw, passed away at 11:40 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 3, at Mason’s Health & Rehabilitation Center, Warsaw.
She was born on May 3, 1934, in Wisner, Neb., to Edward C. Braun and Alta margarete Louise (Paasch) Braun. She was a 1951 graduate of Wisner High School. She married Gerald E. Sims on July 17, 1953, in West Point, Neb.
Rose was a customer relations in Stanford University’s bookstore for 25 years.
She is survived by one daughter: Sandra Leiter, Warsaw; one granddaughter: Shannon Graff, Leesburg; three sisters: Beth Bernice ‘Betty’ (Braun) Eshliman, Wisner; Judy May (Braun) (Raymond Dennis) Buhram; Trudy Kay (Braun) Nilges, Blair, Neb.; three brothers: Harold Edward Braun, Fla.; Clifford William ‘Shorty’ (Corky A. Blumer) Braun; Melvin Gene (Judy Eyl) Braun, Wisner; sister-in-law: Shirley Gene (Mann) Braun.
She is preceded in death by her husband: Gerald E. Sims; twin sisters: Ardel Braun; Mary Braun; brother: Delvin Dean Braun.
No visitation or services are planned. Arrangements have been entrusted to Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw.
