Kosciusko
Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accidents:
2:11 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 4, West Main and South Franklin streets, Warsaw. Drivers: Corbin M. Peterson, 19, Roann, and Shirley J. Tatter, 81, Gilliam Drive South, Warsaw. Peterson reportedly did not see Tatter’s vehicle heading west on Main Street, and pulled out in front of her as a result, causing the accident. Damage up to $2,500.
4:53 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 4, South Packerton Road and East CR 225S, Warsaw. Drivers: Bryan M. Thompson, 17, West CR 550S, Claypool, and Holli L. Deloe, 46, South Ferguson Road, Warsaw. Thompson was unable to slow in time for a stop sign, causing him to run into the rear of Deloe’s vehicle, which was stopped at the sign. Damage up to $5,000.
5:21 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 4, East Backwater Road, North Webster. Driver: Alexis M. Hampton, 20, West CR 325S, Rochester. Hampton was headed west on Backwater Road when she lost control of her vehicle due to road conditions, causing her to crash into a utility pole. Damage up to $2,500.
1:48 p.m. Monday, Jan. 5, North SR 15 and West CR 1000N, Milford. Drivers: Deanna L. Miller, 35, Warner Drive, Claypool, and Austin D. Turner, 18, Adam St., Milford. Turner was coming to a stop on SR 15 when Turner was forced to come to a quick stop. Miller reportedly did not see the brake lights of Turner’s vehicle go on, and ran into the rear of Turner’s vehicle. Damage up to $10,000.
Warsaw
Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:
12:42 p.m. Monday, Jan. 4, North Detroit Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Mikayla R. Harker, 18, West Cherry St., Etna Green, and Jared P. Woodcox, 24, North Main St., Nappanee. Woodcox was traveling on North Detroit Street when Harker reportedly pulled out in from of him, resulting in an accident. Damage up to $10,000.
