Kosciusko County Coroner Michael Wilson has released the name of the passenger involved in Saturday morning’s fatal vehicular crash as that of Kami L. Ellis, 27, Nappanee. Ellis died from blunt force trauma. The accident was north of Milford on CR 1350N.

An autopsy was performed on Ellis today at the Northeast Indiana Forensic Center, Fort Wayne, by Forensic Pathologist Dr. Scott Wagner, MD, and Forensic Odontologist Craig Nelson, DO. Dental comparisons were performed and doctors were able to conclude on the positive identification, as well as the cause of death.

The Kosciusko County F.A.C.T., Sheriff’s Deputies and the Prosecutor’s Office are still currently investigating the circumstances of the fatality.
