Milford Fire Department is at the scene of a rekindled house fire at 824 E. CR 1250N. A full assist from Turkey Creek Fire Territory and Leesburg Fire Departments, with tanker assists from New Paris and Benton fire departments are also at the scene.

Water is being shuttled by tankers to the scene. Tankers are refilling at a fire hydrant at Heide Drive.

At approximately 6:30 this morning, the fire department was notified that flames were through the roof at 824 E. CR 1250N, Milford. A passing motorist awoke a neighbor to report the fire.

Firefighters were at the scene until late yesterday only to return early this morning.

Tim Yoder and Jessica Harner, owners of the residence, arrived at the scene following several hours of sleep. According to Harner they have been blessed with family who are assisting them with a place to stay and necessary items. Several area churches are also assisting the family.
