CULVER – The Tippecanoe Valley wrestling team opened its wrestling season Saturday with a 3-2 mark at the Culver Academy Wrestling Invitational.

The Vikings beat South Bend Adams 33-24, Knox 48-30 and Pioneer 60-6 and dropped contests to Plymouth 48-20 and CMA 36-34.

Individual results had Isaac Randall go 2-2, Brent Reeser 1-0, Devin Childers 5-0, Wyatt Nelson 4-1, Austin Nault 2-3, Gary Long 4-1, Cody Runyon 5-0, Garrett Bell 3-0, Josh Long 4-1, Dylan Warner 2-3 and AJ Long 4-1.

Valley will resume action Saturday the team travels to Wawasee for the Wawasee November Duals.
