Over the past month Symphony of the Lakes has been accepting donations to the exciting new fundraising event known as Pursuit of the Podium. Four community leaders have been competing for your donations and the winner will conduct the Symphony of the Lakes at the Home for the Holiday’s Pops concert at the Warsaw Performing Arts Center at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 22.
The results are in and it’s a tie.
Matt Rudkin, WSBT Meteorologist, will conduct the 2 p.m. concert and Dr. David Hoffert, superintendent of Warsaw Community Schools, will conduct the second concert at 7 p.m. Come and see how these two community leaders handle the illustrious conductor baton with Symphony of the Lakes.
Home for Holiday’s Pops concert gives you and those you love your first taste of the holiday season. It may even become your family’s new holiday tradition!
Performing classic holiday music with the Symphony will be the Lakeland Community Choir and the Lakeland Youth Chorale. You will hear holiday favorites including “How the Grinch Stole Christmas,” Sleigh Ride, White Christmas and so much more!
There will even be a visit from a special guest from the North Pole! Can you guess who it is? You will have to come to the concert to find out!
The Home for the Holiday’s Pops concert will be performed at the Warsaw Performing Arts Center at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 22.
Tickets range from $5-$15.
