UPDATE: Accident On US 30, Parker Street
Karen R. Turner, 69, W. Ninth St., Rochester, was taken to Kosciusko Community Hospital following a two-vehicle accident at US 30 and Parker Street.
The accident was at 10:15 a.m. today. Turner complained of pain to the knee/lower leg/foot area.
Warsaw Police report Chuck Lisenbee, 53, W. Prairie St., Warsaw, was eastbound on US 30. He told police he failed to stop at the red light and entered the intersection, hitting a truck driven by Victor Mitchell, 52, Bancroft Avenue, Rochester.
While Lisenbee was shaken up, he did not require medical attention at the scene. Mitchell was not injured.
Lisenbee was cited for disobeying a traffic signal.
Damage was estimated up to $2,500.
INITIAL: Emergency personnel are currently responding to an accident located on US 30 and Parker Street in Warsaw.
One person was transported from the scene to Kosciusko Community Hospital.
