The Bowen Center will host a Veteran’s Outreach event on Veterans Day, Nov. 11, at The Center’s corporate headquarters located at 2621 E. Jefferson St., Warsaw.
The event, which will be held from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m., is open to the public and is geared toward veterans, active duty military personnel, their friends and families.
The event will feature Dr. Steven Olmer, a specialist in counseling individuals, couples, families and children.
“Military service can be stressful for many service members as well as their families,” said James Troutner, event coordinator. “Our role is to support and coach you through the mental and emotional struggles you may be currently facing. Help is here and waiting.”
In the fall of 2012, The Bowen Center was named a Military-Ready Behavioral Health Provider Organization by the Indiana Veterans Behavioral Health Network.
Founded in 1961, the Otis R. Bowen Center for Human Services, Inc., is a private not-for-profit, comprehensive community mental health center licensed by the State of Indiana Division of Mental Health.
