Country Christmas With Susie McEntire in Warsaw
Looking for a quality Christmas concert and a good cause? Look no further.
Susie McEntire, sister of Country legend Reba McEntire, and a legend in her own right, will be presenting a Country Christmas on Friday, Dec. 19 in Warsaw. She will be joined by the Warsaw Christian School’s Children’s Choir for a special performance.
The native Oklahoman started singing as a teenager with brother, Pake, and sister Reba as the Singing McEntires. While her siblings pursued mainstream country music, McEntire chose to focus on gospel country.
She has earned numerous awards and nominations from TNN, GMA, and CCMA. She’s been named “Artist of the Year” in Positive Country Music several times and earned four #1 singles on Positive Country Music radio charts.
McEntire will perform at Lakeview Middle School auditorium on Dec. 19. Doors will open at 6 p.m. and the show starts at 7:30 p.m. Here’s the twist: tickets for the event will not be sold.
Thanks to numerous sponsors, the show is free. However, attendees should bring a new, unwrapped toy to benefit Toys For Tots.
Organizer Mike Loher says he’s trying to organize a luncheon or speaking engagement prior to the show.
